Maize prices rose by Rs.40 to 50 per quintal to Davanagere of Karnataka, due to good demand from traders in anticipation of higher prices. Traders are expecting that prices would rise due to on expectation of lower crop in kharif season due to lower rainfall. Prices steady in Purnea, Bihar and arrivals also remain stable.
